at Vancouver Bible Institute
Vancouver Bible Institute provides a comprehensive theological education designed with all believers in mind, no matter where they are in their walk. We believe that the study of the Bible and theology is a right, a privilege, and a duty for everyone, not just for pastors.
The six-course The Theology Program, the 13-week The Truth Project, and the 10-week The Electives courses are designed for people who have responsibilities—families, full-time jobs, volunteer service—that demand their time and energy, yet who also have a desire to more adequately know what they believe and why they believe it.
For those who wish to delve deeper, elective courses are offered from time-to-time, as staff and scheduling allow. There are usually no prerequisites for these electives. Check back often to see what is being offered and when.

Read the course descriptions and prayerfully consider whether they meet your needs. You can attend the courses locally, or you may attend the courses online (at the same time the class is meeting in person). Review the class and registration schedules and determine which option is best for you.

Register online, or print the registration form, complete it, and mail it in with your check as directed. Registration will begin your interaction with our staff. They will guide you through the process of getting your course schedule and books.

Costs Involved

For The Theology Program, and The Electives courses

Fee is $100 fee for each course for Certificate Students.

Fee is $60 for Personal Enrichment (non-certificate) students.

Textbooks are extra. They can be purchased at time of registration, at a later time through our bookstore, or you may purchase them through other means if you so choose.

The Theology Program required reading textbooks may be purchased at time of registration for $58.00. This includes shipping and taxes. (Total enrollment for Certificate Students becomes $158.00).

The Electives Textbooks vary by course. We always charge just what we pay, rounded up to the nearest dollar amount.

Honors Reading books may be purchased through our bookstore or ordered through the course instructor at any time.

For The Truth Project, there is no course fee, but we do ask for a $5.00 registration fee. There are no textbooks required for The Truth Project.
